Le Cler(c) Traverso 415 Hz
Jean Nicolas Le Cler (who died in Paris in 1752) belonged to the "later" generation of the French traverso makers. After his death
his workshop was continued by his son-in-law Gilles Lot.
The original of this instrument is kept in Brussels and is completely made of ivory.
Similar to the flutes of Delusse it has wonderfully balanced registers, ideal for chamber music, and ranges up to a''' without any problems.
